A Story to Tell is written by Richard Frost MBE.
A Christian since 1979, Richard has been a Licensed Lay Minister (Reader) in the Church of England since 2003. He is also an Oblate (a ‘third order’, lay member) of the Anglican Benedictine Monastic Community at Alton Abbey in Hampshire. Married to Jane, who is a vicar, they live in Devon with Daisy, a cocker spaniel, and have two grown-up children. They serve in the Haldon Mission Community of six churches. Richard is also a Chaplain to the South West Ministry Training Course.
Richard has written a couple of books: Life with St Benedict (BRF) and A Story to Tell (in printed form). He regularly writes book reviews for BRF, was in the Top Ten of Preach magazine’s Sermon of the Year 2019 and has a YouTube channel containing a range of short films.
Thank you to members of the churches in the Totnes Team Ministry and the Diocese of Exeter’s Clergy Spouses’ Group who ‘road-tested’ aspects of the stories and group discussion material in House Groups and during Quiet Days in Autumn 2018.
